Prime West was founded in Denver in 1981. From the start, the firm’s mission has been to create an enduring company that would benefit the communities in Colorado in which Prime West operates by developing projects with an emphasis on distinctive design, superior building quality, and best in-market building features and amenities.

With a history rooted in successful office development, Prime West has had a hand in creating some of the Denver area’s most iconic office districts including Interlocken and Belleview Station. With strategic leadership vision, the company expanded its product development specialties to include multifamily in 2019 and industrial in 2022.

Prime West now focuses on office, multifamily, industrial, build-to-suit, and healthcare facilities along Colorado’s front range. With over 7 million square feet developed in Colorado and over 100 years of combined experience by the leadership team, Prime West is Colorado’s premier developer

We arrange financing, oversee the development, and manage the completed property.

Development Team

Jim joined the development team of Prime West in 2012, and became the Owner, President and CEO in 2016. Jim is responsible for guiding the company to ensure the overall success of Prime West and works directly with the leadership team of the firm to establish the direction of the company, its vision, goals, objectives, strategies, and market focus. Tim joined the Prime West team in 2019 to lead the Company’s development activities including spearheading the Company’s diversification into the multifamily and mixed-use sectors.  In his current role as President, Tim guides the Prime West development team and projects throughout the development cycle across the Company’s diverse portfolio of office, multifamily and industrial development projects. Troy joined the Prime West team in 2016 as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for all financial aspects of the company, including financing, accounting, financial planning and forecasting.  Troy coordinates with all department leads to ensure proper controls and accurate financial reporting to all stakeholders and also acts as a primary contact with investors and lending partners. Jeff is responsible for managing the execution of each multi-family project in the current and future pipeline through every phase of the development lifecycle. His focus also includes the sourcing of multi-family development sites and acting as the development point person through the development lifecycle. Read More

CJ joined Prime West in 2020. In his finance-focused role, his primary responsibilities include financial modeling and project budgeting for Prime West development projects. He also supports various aspects of project delivery working alongside Prime West’s internal team and third-party architects, engineers and general contractors throughout the construction process. Max joined Prime West in 2022 as Vice President of Development Management and is responsible for overseeing all construction activities from project inception and design through completion. In this role, Anderson will also be involved in the selection of design and construction teams for all Prime West projects, as well as contract negotiation, quality control and timeline management. Adam joined the Prime West team in 2018 as Project Manager and focuses on multi-family and office development projects. He works very closely with architects, engineers, general contractors, and environmental consultants throughout the development and construction process to ensure projects move forward and are completed on schedule and on budget. Property Management

Brie joined Prime West in 2020. She’s oversees business development and the property management team. Her expertise includes client and tenant relations, budget preparation, operating expense reconciliations, lease administration, physical management and financial reporting.

David joined Prime West in 2005. He oversees all engineering staff across our 2.5 million-square-feet of managed assets. He also oversees and manages tenant improvement and capital improvement projects.
